Multilingual Module

This module allows you to manage a site in various different languages.
Flex CMP automatically provides a language management attribute and a set of characters for every language. It also provides for the insertion on non-western languages via web interfaces. FlexCMP's multilingual manager stops dead links from appearing in various different languages by managing pages in an unequivocal way, regardless of the language a translation is available in. If a page is not translated into a certain language, it is visualised in the main language (e.g. Italian) with a warning message, written in the language you are browsing under, which apologises for the unavailability of the translated page. Regarding individual pages and individual languages, it is possible to define the status information of the page (visible, under construction, hidden). This means that some parts of the site are visible in certain languages but not in others: so it's not necessary to translate the entire website. With larger websites, as well as translating the contents, it is also possible to change the look of the website at the level of the general template (XHTML/CSS).
The multilingual module does not translate automatically, this needs to be done by the editors of the site themselves. FlexCMP simplifies the operation of inserting translated content by stopping pasting errors appearing or involuntary alterations to the page's layout.
